Jennifer Smith

Since I was a child I have always been very artistic, constantly drawing and painting with whatever spare paper I could find lying around. I've studied art for most of my life, focusing mainly on tradition mediums such as painting, drawing, sculpture and photography just to name a few. Seriously...you name it, I've probably worked with it. Eventually this led me to a small art college in Washington D.C. where I received a B.F.A. in Graphic Design. Recently, I made my escape from the nation's capital and moved to the lovely city of Chicago to continue my career in the advertising and design industry where I'm currently seeking work as a production artist within an ad agency or comparable environment.

• flow, proof, format and edit text
• managing pre/post production files

• manipulate, correct and finalize artwork
• pre-flight various levels of digital files
• retouch photos
• act as a liaison between production artist, designers & AE's

• I know what an X-acto knife is and I'm not afraid to use it
• I secretly love the smell of Spray Mount
• I take the time to teach myself what I don't already know
